Newsletter, you guessed it. Even our business cards, if they want to talk with us about a short sale we will need to have another card with this paragraph on it.
And yes, it has to be two point-larger type than the font size of an article or disclosure and be outstanding. I guess so this is so you can see it. Well, it works!!!
Wish I could tell you the reasoning behind this but I am sure that the people that decided to do this are not Realtors. For the life of me I don't understand where NAR was in this whole process.
But, until they change their mind...it's just more paperwork that keeps on mounting for us Realtors!!
ABOUT ME!
I grew up in a rural town where you learned right from wrong. Where people came together in time of crisis. Where my father new the father in the next town and so on and so on.
As a kid my father and mother (which was rarity in those times) worked hard every day except Sunday and sometimes even then, but Sunday was usually a time for Church and Family.
They were hard working people that never made a lot of money, but they did put bread on the table. Mornings started between 6 and 7 a.m. usually and they got finished whenever it was time. Sometimes very late at night.
I learned a lot from my mother and father. I learned respect of one's self, to be honest, to help others in need and to be an independent thinker. Out of the box, sort of to speak.
Sometimes this got me into big trouble, but as a child I didn't realize the gift that my mother and father had given me. Now it's to late to tell them, but I have a feeling they knew.
Because of my values in life I can only be Honest and Open. You might not like what I have to tell you but, I've been brought up to where Honesty is the best policy.
I certainly hope that my articles or blogs will never hurt or offend anyone however, it is my intent to bring you my honest feellings about a subject that I am working on.

ANXIETY GROWS AS BUYERS CONTINUE TO THINK THE WORSE IS YET TO COME!
It’s true, things are still not looking good out there in the Real Estate market but we are still hoping for a better year this coming 2012 then our 2011 year appears to be turning out to be. The last couple of months it appears that the economists think that the decline in market value may continue to drop as it appears the job market aren’t getting much better and now we have lost our S&P rating. Buyer traffic slipped in August coming in below our expectations. Many Real Estate Agents stressed that the hesitation was driven by a lack of confidence in our economy. Uncertainty in the marketplace over whether one will keep one’s job as people continue putting off a “sale” witch continues to be on hold despite the low interest rates. Let’s face it, no one wants to buy a home and have the value fall! And, what happens if we do have that double dip recession that could be in our future? Well the fact is, no one really knows. As of this writing we do know that prices are still headed south. Higher unemployment, higher food prices (ye gads) and of course gasoline all head the way! And those of us that may be a little older therefore wiser do know that History does have a tendency to repeat itself. I don’t personally look for things to even begin to turn around until after the 2012 elections, and then of course it will depend upon what the Senate and Congress as well as the new (or old) elected President does.
